About the District:
Serving more than 11,000 East Multnomah County students
Reynolds School District serves the eastern most section of Portland, Oregon, as well as the cities of Gresham, Fairview, Wood Village and Troutdale. The district stretches from 141st Avenue on the east side to the Sandy River on the west. North, it is bounded by the Columbia River and runs south to SE Market and Stark streets.
- The district serves more than 11,000 students in a diverse geographic region and from diverse backgrounds.
- Each child brings a wealth of cultural knowledge and experience into the classroom to enrich the lives of their peers and their teachers.
- Together, our students speak more than 67 languages and we encourage literacy in children’s native languages while also moving them towards proficiency in English.
- Reynolds students attend two high schools, three middle schools and 11 elementary schools, as well as five charter schools.
