Welcome to Reynolds Tomorrow, the website focused on the vital issues facing the Reynolds School District. In 2011, this site hosted an important survey. The results helped the District understand the community’s education priorities and informed the School Board as it decided the 2011-2012 budget.

Goal 1: Next survey – Help us find a new superintendent
Our most immediate goal is to find a successor to Dr. Joyce Henstrand, who is retiring in June 2012. She has been instrumental in helping the School Board navigate through tough economic times. As a result of her stewardship, we have a strong foundation for the future.
Please respond to our new survey. Your answers will help the Board understand the top characteristics you want in a new leader.
Goal 2: Learn About the district improvement plan
It’s vitally important that our leadership search and our budget-building be based on a vision for the future. That’s why the Reynolds School district leadership is developing a three-year District Improvement Plan. Watch this website for more information in 2012.

Goal 3: Help us plan the 2012-2013 budget
Early in 2012, once we’ve finished our survey about qualities for a new superintendent, we will start work planning next year’s district budget. The feedback we received from almost 1,000 district residents truly gave us important guideposts as the Board determined the current-year budget. The amount of school funding available for next year is just coming into focus. Check this website in early 2012 for background on the issues and options.
